Camp JRF Eco-Village South Sterling, PA Metcalfe Architecture & Design is creating an Eco-Village for Camp JRF, the Jewish Reconstructionist camp in the Pocono Mountains. Camp officials selected MA&D because of the firm's commitment to education, the environment, creativity, and engaging campers in the design and construction process. It will include yurt-style cabins, a program building, and bathhouses -- all with "green" elements. Construction is scheduled to begin in Summer 2011. |
