Metcalfe collaborated with the staff of the Academy to create “Butterflies!”— a permanent exhibit that offers visitors a chance to directly experience the beauty and delicate dance of live, tropical butterflies. In addition to designing the exhibits and graphics, Metcalfe art-directed an interactive game, which can be accessed on computer stations in the exhibit as well as online.
